The BFA in Brazil with its alliances hopes to facilitate a better life style for the people in the community where BFA is present. Working with communities to implement the following programs: Work, Sport, Health, Education and Social Inclusion. Check out our programs and projects below and see how you can help.
Workshops for Semi – Professional Work
Implementation of associations and self-sustaining cooperatives of community work, for the social inclusion of a population without any substantial means (extreme poverty), by generating income through professional hand crafted courses from the natural resources of the region.
Vegetable Oil - Income with Ecological Soap
The used vegetable oil turns income for the community by selling the produced soap or with the collected oil. Beyond that it helps in the reduction of the contamination of the environment.
Biodiesel - Ecology and Income
The installation of a plant of Biodiesel will make biofuel that will enpower the communities to work. Besides aiding in the greenhouse effect, it will prevent great volumes of used oil from contaminating the earth and what would’ve inevitability polluted the water of our planet and global warming.
Art with Income - Hand crafted pottery figurines courses
The pottery classes will teach the proper art to create objects by hand sculpting, with the majority of the participants being women with no income to join and work cooperatively.
Sport
The children and youths that want to participate in some programs in the BFA must frequent the school, and will have follow up performances to access the necessities of each child. All the activities are followed with a nutritious snack or lunch. This aids as an incentive so that they will continue, since many of them do not have the means for even one meal a day.
Soccer Fields for Children and Youths
Children and youths from 8 - 14 years of age will train/play soccer as a community. Where he/she uses to their advantage the principles and knowledge of self dicipline, hygiene and social integration.
Karate
It teaches: discipline, self respect, self confidence, good sportsmanship and courage. The children and youths from the community will receive Karate training from the young Yuri, who already holds several titles in this sport.
Health
Basic Monthly Health Checkups
Each month members of the community (various ages) are invited to participate in activities provided by a registered nurse: To measure the blood pressure; Diabetes testing; donations of medication and contraceptives.
Medical Specialist
Each month a selected medical specialist in the one of the diverse areas will attend the community center. Besides providing check ups and follow ups we will donate medicine and offer guidance to necessary hospital care. It confers more information
Education
Computer Science Courses
The youths of the community will have the opportunity to take a computer science course within the headquarters of the BFA. The basic course will have the intent to enable the youths to enter the work force.
Extra Help at School
The youths who participate in the projects have at their disposal volunteers who will aid and assist them with any difficulties that they may encounter in learning due to their environmental circumstances (malnutrition).

Social inclusion
Important Dates
Thru our alliances and volunteers the BFA offers events that are an excellent way for the community to have access to the BFA centers and to receive information amongst the broad subjects in our lectures such as: Sexual education, social education, hygiene, behavior, rights and duties.

Day of Beauty
A different day that will include hair cuts and manicures for the community.
A Day of Arts
The children of the community will certainly have one amusing day which will include activities such as drawing and painting (hand eye coordination) a slight knowledge of social education, hygiene and cleanliness.
After the activity a nutricious snack will be served.
Future Projects
We are organizing ways to initiate starter projects and we need your aid to implement these programs. The members of the community that participate in our daily activities have a great interest in the implementation of the new programs.
Digital Income - Working with Internet
The big market that is the Internet will be a good opportunity for the youths to learn a career in computers. The internet market needs professionals in this field. The youths that participate in the BFA will have first priority of these programs.
Community Bakery
The participants will be given the opportunity to learn how to be a baker and to obtain an income that can improve their lifestyles. By baking nutitional affordable breads they will be better supporters for their family and their community.
Chorus
Children’s chorus combining the masculine and feminem voices.
Ballroom dancing , classic and other regional varieties will be offered.
Children’s Library
The children of the community do not have the access to children’s books.
